Guppies
This classroom is for our energetic two-year old students. In this classroom a variety of age appropriate toys and designated areas are provided as your child has a fun-filled day learning, exploring and playing with their friends.
We have adopted the Mother Goose program, which works on developing the whole child. Your child will be the star of their story; they will have a portfolio that captures their reflection on learning. We ensure that your child reaches all of their milestones. Along with talking to the teachers, you will receive updates on ProCare, an App that families can install. You receive updates directly on your phone during the day to keep track of their day, eating habits, how they play with their friends and daily activities.
Cubbies provide a storage area where your toddler's clothing, sippy cups and bags can be stored away from other children. You select the bedding that will make your toddler most comfortable. The ratio in this classroom is one teacher to every six students.
The Guppies room is designed for maximum efficiency, security and safety. Toys are sterilized daily and changing tables are sterilized after each diaper is changed. A specific diaper changing procedure is strictly adhered to ensure our students safety. Caregivers are required to wear gloves and place a specially designed sanitary paper on the changing pad before each child's diaper is changed. Diapers are placed in plastic bags before being deposited in a lined diaper pail which is emptied several times a day.

We will work with your preschooler on potty training. We have potty training books and songs and help them learn through positive reinforcement and encourage them to tell us when they need to use the potty. Let us know whatever method you are using at home and we will do our best to accommodate their potty training needs
