A Whole New World Academy reviewed several childcare technology apps and decided that KidsReport is the best smart app for our school since it maximizes communication and monitors your child’s development.

·         You can receive pictures and videos during the day that can be downloaded

·         Milestones and learning updates are received

·          Provide information about your child’s daily activities, meals, naps and potty times.

I primarily decided on KidReport since this is the only app that integrated a program (Learning Stories Tree) to monitor learning and development skills within toddlers.  It is important to know how your child learns new concepts and this will be a crucial tool when they go to elementary school.  Additionally, both Bright Wheel and Hi Mama are designed to let the teacher check a box and ProCare requires you to enter a picture and words.

 

Finally, families love that all of the photos and videos can be downloaded and saved to your personal device.  A nice way to have a lifetime of memories, since we subscribe to the Procare Cloud which has unlimited storage.
