AWNWA's COVID-19 Procedures

DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP PROCEDURES
To ensure the health and safety at AWNWA, we are instituting new routines for drop-off and pick-up. Only one family at a time will be permitted inside the foyer, a staff member will then take the child’s temperature to ensure they do not have a fever above 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit. Then their teacher will take your child to the classroom. For pick-up, a teacher will bring your child to the foyer. Please be mindful of keeping a six-foot distance from others during drop-off and pick-up.

PRACTICING SOCIAL DISTANCING
In the classroom, we will practice social distancing. Your children will remain in the classroom or on the playground with their teachers and classmates, and will not interact with different classes. All field trips, events, and visitors will be postponed until further notice.

KEEPING AREAS CLEAN
High-touch surfaces and objects, such as toys, playground structures, and light switches will be disinfected throughout the day.

FOOD PREP PROCEDURES
Teachers will continue to wear gloves and will pre prepare the food using Yumble. The teachers will serve children individually.

FACE COVERINGS
We have provided our staff the best practices about wearing face coverings at AWNWA. To comply with NJ Health and Safety orders, all employees will wear masks.
